GLM2 – South Yarra – Icon

Highrise Carpentry valued the opportunity to contribute to a social housing project, delivering modern, energy-efficient, and sustainable homes.

West Side Place – MPX

Stage 2 was the final phase of the $2B West Side Place precinct, comprising two 70-level towers. It included 315 Dorsett Hotel suites (Levels G–10) and over 1,500 high-end apartments.

Next DC M2 -Kapitol Group

M2 Data Centre Tullamarine features 16,000 sqm of space with 20 data halls, capable of supporting high-density AI infrastructure.

Centre for National Resilience Melbourne – MPX

In 2021, the Australian Government partnered with the Victorian government to deliver the Centre for National Resilience in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, with a capacity of 1,000 beds.

The project ran from July 2021 to March 2022, 7 days a week, 24hrs a day.

La Trobe University’s Student Accommodation – MPX

LTUSA project delivered a new standard in sustainable living spaces. 624 student accommodation beds over 6 levels with 2,700+ individual mass timber elements. Using cross-laminated timber it has the capacity to halve the embodied carbon in the building relative to a concrete structure.

XLAM panels are prefabricated cross-laminated timber elements (3–9 layers, up to 13.5m long) made without formaldehyde. They offer high strength, flexibility, and durability while combining structural performance with sustainability benefits such as energy efficiency, seismic and fire resistance. The project used 1,668 m³ of XLAM and 74 m³ of glulam, storing approximately 1,393 tonnes of CO₂.

To date, this project is the largest mass engineered timber construction of its kind in Victoria and one of the largest *Passive House Certified buildings in the southern hemisphere. LTUSA was our second CLT project and largest to date.

Australia 108 – MPX

Australia 108 is a 100-level residential tower in Melbourne’s Southbank, standing 319 metres tall with 1,105 apartments—the tallest residential building in the Southern Hemisphere. Our largest project to date, it spanned over three years. Designed by Fender Katsalidis Architects, it features a distinctive “Starburst” at levels 70–71, inspired by the Commonwealth Star and recognised as a significant engineering achievement.
